Welcome to my rack shack, my name is Steve. Growing up in San Diego, I was always in the water. I began making racks when my quiver began to grow and stacking them in the corner was no longer an option. My father, a carpenter, made it so the only option was to build a rack myself. Soon, my friends started asking me to make racks for them, and Steve's Rack Shack was established. I then realized that this could be the way to surf more, and put me through college.  I developed a line of premium handmade rack for all types of board sport enthusiasts using the highest quality materials. It is my goal to provide you with a product you would be proud to store your boards after all they are “a ride worth protecting”.
